More Protests Expected In U.S. Shooting Case
Civil rights leaders in the United States are planning more protests this week and vigils in dozens of cities on the weekend after the acquittal of George Zimmerman, accused of shooting and killing African American teenager Trayvon Martin in Florida. Zimmerman had followed and confronted the 17-year-old Martin, who was unarmed, because he allegedly looked suspicious, leading to an altercation and Martin's death. The case has aroused widespread public anger and accusations that the justice system has failed to protect black Americans. (AP video)
