Protesters Face Off With Government Troops In Kyiv

Protesters in Kyiv faced off with lines of Interior Ministry troops near the presidential administration building on the evening of December 9 with minor scuffles breaking out between the two sides. The demonstrators were holding their ground as security forces began removing protesters' barricades and raided the office of the Batkivschyna (Fatherland) political party of Yulia Tymoshenko.
